From 5.00pm, guests are invited to join Matt and Megan for beachside welcome drinks on Hayman Island to begin the wedding celebrations. Set against the stunning Whitsundays backdrop, it will be a relaxed opportunity for family and friends to come together, enjoy a drink by the water and start the celebrations ahead of the big day.

Matt and Megan’s wedding day on Hayman Island begins at 3pm, set against the beautiful backdrop of the Whitsundays. Guests will gather to celebrate as the ceremony and evening unfold in a relaxed island setting, surrounded by ocean views and tropical landscapes. The afternoon will move into an evening of food, drinks and celebration as family and friends come together to mark this special moment for the couple on one of Australia’s most iconic island destinations.
Recovery Day
24th October 2027
A pool party day at the Hayman Island poolside cabanas is a relaxed way to spend the afternoon with friends. Set beside the main pool, the cabanas offer a comfortable spot to sit back, enjoy a few drinks, snack on great food and jump in the pool whenever you feel like it.
Travel Information
Guests will fly into Hamilton Island Airport, where they will then be transferred to Hayman Island via a luxury boat service.

InterContinental Hayman Island (22–24 October 2027)
All room rates below are per night for 2 adults and are inclusive of daily buffet breakfast and luxury return boat transfers from Hamilton Island Airport.
• Lagoon Wing Room – $759 per night
• 1 Bedroom Suite – Lagoon View – $1,009 per night
• 1 Bedroom Suite – Pool View – $1,059 per night
• 2 Bedroom Hayman Suite – $1,609 per night
Additional Guest Information
• A third guest (12 years and over) can be added to selected rooms for an additional $150 per person, per night.
• An additional $190 return per person will apply for the luxury boat transfer for the third guest.
